The Commission of Investigation is looking into Mother-and-Baby Homes in Ireland, and the Confidential Committee are coming over to the UK in 2016, so there is an opportunity for those with any information to give evidence confidentially, either here or in Ireland.    Continue reading

Recent Supreme Court Ruling regarding late applications from survivors of abuse.

Tony Kelly spent the first 16 years of his life in 9 foster homes and one industrial school.  Tony says “My purpose of contacting you is to make the many Irish men and women like myself who emigrated to the UK years ago and who may have spent time in foster homes and institutions and suffered abuse of one kind or another – that they are now entitled to make a late claim for compensation to the Residential Institutional Redress Board known as RIRB here in Dublin.
